My First Blog in Seventh Heaven

Hey seventh graders! I am now in the 21st century! Mrs. Sheppard is helping me to use the EGMS wiki, blogspot, etc. I am having a great time--I am in 7th Heaven!!! Get it? I have really enjoyed this school year...being a seventh grade principal has been challenging, yet rewarding. I LOVE the teachers in the 7th grade. I know they have high expectations but they are great teachers!!!! They truly care about whether you learn and WHAT you learn. I think your seventh grade year will be one of your best school years ever! I will be sharing my pictures of my trip to China with you at the next grade level awards assembly. I had a life-changing experience. I really enjoy traveling especially to places that are so incredibly awesome as China was. I hope that you will also travel throughout your lives...it helps you understand your own world a little better and appreciate what you have. Seeing how others live gives you a greater appreciation for our own country. Seeing different cultures helps you be more tolerant of people who have different customs and it helps you see why others are the way they are. All in all, life is good!
